Make a room. Send one link.
Start a meeting from Jefferson or meet.jefferson.bio, or straight from the event on your calendar. Everyone you invite gets the same link.
- Recorded, or private.Rooms are recorded by default. Pick a private room and it's end-to-end encrypted, with nothing recorded or transcribed.
- Only your people get in.The room is for your organisation. A link that reaches the wrong inbox still doesn't open the door.
- Keep it to the room.Restrict a meeting and only the people in it can see its notes afterwards.
- Join from your desk.Open the room in Quill Meet on your Mac, or in any browser.

Everyone hears it's recorded. Everyone chooses.
Nobody is recorded by surprise. Before anyone's microphone turns on, they see the recording notice and pick how they join.
- Agree, or listen only.Join with mic and camera and be recorded, or listen without being recorded. Either way they're in the meeting.
- Jefferson says it out loud.As each person arrives, Jefferson tells the room it's being recorded, so the people already talking hear it too.
- A Recording sign stays up.A red Recording marker sits in the room for as long as the meeting is recorded.
- Your words, your rules.Your organisation sets the notice and whether it's required. Every choice is kept on record.
“Acme renewal: Q1 terms” is recorded
Audio and transcripts stay on InsurEco's servers. Jefferson is in this room and can answer questions privately for whoever asks. If you'd rather not be recorded, you can still join and listen.
Jefferson is in the room. He answers only you.
Open the Jefferson panel and ask him anything mid-call: what the client said last time, what's in their file, what you just agreed. Type it, hold the button and say it, or just say “Hey Jefferson.” Nobody else sees the question or the answer unless you share it.
Dan: I'll send the renewal quote over by Friday.
- Live captions for everyone recorded. What's said shows up on screen as you talk, so a missed line is never lost.
- He only knows what you heard.Jefferson works from the part of the meeting you were there for, and only for people who agreed to be recorded.
Every voice on its own track.
Each person who agreed is recorded separately, so every line in the transcript has exactly the right name on it. No guessing who said “I'll send it Friday.”
- Listen-only means not recorded.Anyone who chose to listen isn't recorded at all. Jefferson checks again before every recording starts.
- Transcribed on our own servers.Speech-to-text runs on InsurEco's infrastructure, not an outside transcription service.
- Secrets scrubbed first.Passwords, card numbers, Social Security numbers and keys said out loud are removed before anything is stored or summarised.
The follow-up is written before you've refilled your coffee.
Minutes after the call, the meeting page has everything, and so does Jefferson.
- Summary.A short account of what was discussed.
- Decisions. What was agreed, in one list.
- Action items.Who will do what, with a date when one was said.
- Transcript.Every line, with the time and who said it.
- Written by AI that keeps nothing.Summaries come from an AI model under zero data retention, or from a model on our own servers if your organisation prefers that its words never leave.

Kept for your people. For as long as you say.
The meeting joins everything else Jefferson knows. It lands on the right calendar event, beside notes from Fireflies, the note-taker or Quill Meet, so “what did we decide with Acme?” has one answer.

What's said in the meeting stays with the agency.Recorded on our servers, seen only by your people, remembered by Jefferson for you.
For the person who's going to ask.
Can people outside my organisation join?
Meetings are for your organisation's people. Nobody outside it can join a room or see its notes.
Does anyone else see what I ask Jefferson during the call?
No. Answers go only to you, unless you choose to share one with the room. If you turn on voice, the answer is spoken only to you.
Can Jefferson hear a private meeting?
No. In an end-to-end encrypted room nothing is recorded or transcribed, and Jefferson cannot read what is said.
What if someone doesn't want to be recorded?
They join listen-only. They hear everything and can be seen in the room, but their microphone and camera stay off and nothing they say is recorded.
How long are recordings kept?
Your organisation decides. By default audio is deleted 30 days after the meeting, and the transcript, summary and action items stay so Jefferson can remember them.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Rooms open in any modern browser. Quill Meet for Mac is there if you'd rather join, or record other calls, from your desktop.
Start a room. Let him take the notes.
Open Jefferson, start a meeting and send the link. When you hang up, ask him what you agreed.
